Happy New Year!

2016 is fast approaching and I thought I would share with you what I will be wearing to my friends New Years Eve house party.  Although I usually holiday in Byron Bay or other beachside destinations this year my New Years is to be more on the local side.

New Years (while often over rated) is a great time of year in Melbourne and sunny Australia as a whole. Summer days consist of blue skies, warm weather, beach trips and pool parties.  Most people are sporting a healthy summer glow and are adorned with the treats and gifts of Christmas.

This New Years is set to be one of Melbourne’s hottest on record and is predicted to reach 40 degrees (C). With this in mind, this New Years outfit has a strong focus on comfort. Loose, linen high waisted shorts, cotton crop, sun hat and some comfy shoes are my NYE must haves.  I will also ensure that I have plenty of sunscreen on (especially on my face).

1. Top, hat, shorts – Seed Heritage
2. Shoes – Wittner (They also have a flat version available and also come in white, and black)
3. Wine – Tempus Two Moscato
4. Typography – Jasmine Dowling #CreateOrCredit
5. Sunscreen – Keihl’s
6. Watch – Daniel Wellington
7. Jewellery – Samantha Wills

As 2016 approaches I wanted to say a big thank you to all of those who have supported me throughout 2015.  I could not be more grateful for all of the lovely people who get involved with Just Style.co and who have made it clear you enjoy my musings.

Thank you for coming back each week and reading my posts.  Have a safe and happy holiday season and I look forward to sharing my 2016 with you all.
