Paris is most definitely one of those cities that can do no wrong. In any other city, disheveled winding streets, uneven cobble stones and blunt people who refuse to pick up their dog’s poop may overwhelm, disappoint and frustrate visitors. In Paris however, these quirks act as charming cultural experiences that successfully convince us that there is no other place quite like Paris. While there are hundreds of features I love about this beautiful city – one in particular is the stunning rooftops – some dating back centuries. Not only do they shelter the Parisians and visitors living within but they offer a wealth of history and architectural insight to a time long since past. Here is a small collection of some of my favourite rooftops.
